I did NOTHING WRONG, Former NFL Star Derek Wolfe faces BACKLASH for hunting and killing a moun

Derek Wolfe may no longer be haunting offenses in the NFL by taking them down but he continues to retain his killer instinct well into retirement. The former defensive end recently posted an image of him with a mountain lion which he had hunted and killed with his bow and arrow. While that may sound impressive to a few, a lot of fans were actually triggered by his actions.

Derek Wolfe claimed that after the image of him posing with the mountain lion emerged, he has been subject to a lot of criticism for his actions. He has over 200 complaints that have been filed against him even though he did absolutely nothing illegal. the former Denver Bronco was actually doing a public service by killing the mountain lion as it was allegedly causing a lot of trouble in Colorado.

Derek Wolfe appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show on Monday and spoke about the aftermath of his actions. The former defensive end was shocked at the response of fans and stated that he “can’t believe what’s happened to me,” following last week’s hunt. Wolfe appears to have become a victim of the woke culture.

Derek Wolfe did not violate any laws while hunting:

Take a look at what Wolfe stated, “I can’t believe that going on a legal hunt, doing something legal, by the book. They’ve had 200 calls to Colorado Parks and Wildlife trying to turn me in like I did something wrong. I did nothing wrong. Everything’s legal.”

Mountain lions are a big issue in Colorado and Wolfe gave some insights into how bad the situation has become. There have been 23 attacks on humans by these creatures since 1990 and the lions do not spare even dogs as reportedly in 2022, 15 dogs were found dead as a result of mountain lion attacks within a 30-day frame.

The majority of the calls made to the authorities would be by animal lovers and activists. They are of the opinion that Wolfe should not have meddled with the animal and just let it be, however, the athlete made it clear that the Colorado Parks and Wildlife authorities had no issue with his plan to kill the predator and he did everything right.

“I was able to make a good shot, a good ethical shot, and harvested the cat. Got him out of there and did everything by the book. This was completely legal. CPW (Colorado Parks & Wildlife) came down and checked the cat in for me.” Wolfe stated. The hunter did get his share of the spoils, when asked what happened to the remains, he made it clear that he intends to make a great feast out of it.

“I took the meat and got it processed. I’m gonna eat that cat.” That would be one filling and satisfying meal for him. Correct or not, the one thing that cannot be denied about Wolfe is that his hunting down and killing a mountain lion with a bow and arrow is pretty bada*s.
