George Ivan Koepp of Portage, WI passed away at the age of 68 on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at home, with his family by his side.

George was born on April 25, 1955, to Donald and Carolyn Koepp. He attended UW-River Falls where he met his wife, Polly, in the marching band. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education and later completed a Master of Education and Professional Development from UW-LaCrosse, his obituary said.

George taught high school Agriculture in Poynette then later Baraboo for 27 years, also serving as the FFA Advisor.

George leaves behind his wife Polly; children, grandchildren, mother, brother, and sisters.
